How the Timer Works

  • Starts tracking immediately when you click Start Timer.
  • Stops and saves hours to today’s timesheet week.
  • Uses your org week start day to select the correct week.
  • Persists in your browser so you can refresh without losing time.

Start a Timer

Go to Timesheets.

Choose the project and add an optional task label.

Click Start Timer.

When finished, click Stop & Save.

Best Practices

  • Use clear task names so managers understand your work.
  • Stop the timer before switching projects.
  • Review the timesheet entry if you need to adjust hours.

💡 Pro Tip

Timer entries save directly to today’s timesheet. If the week does not exist yet, DuePilot will create it for you.
